What is it about this RAT?

Just received this email from our steering committee in the neighborhood (detailed and non-altered translation)

Hi,

I write this email and beg you to forward it to everyone living at Mälarblick (our area!!) and Ferievägen (our street!!). We have now had a rat visiting our garden twice and we wonder if anyone is feeding their cats or adding things to their compost in a bad manner so that this rat has found its way to Mälarblick. We will have to set up traps immediately or contact Anticimex (here we go again!) to put out poison. We don't want them to breed here.

Well, I certainly don't want it to breed here either. But I can tell you exactly how this rat found its way to Mälarblick. It has probably tailed us from Brussels all the way back to Sweden... just to see me go nuts!! I've also done my research. According to astrology the rat's year is right now: From 2008 to 2009!!
